    Final update. I took it in and they completed the repair in about 20 minutes. It takes a little longer to start now. It cranks 2-3 rotations to clear any residual fuel out of the intake manifold before energizing the injectors and coils.

    Kawasaki gave everyone impacted by the recall $500 credit towards parts and accessories and extended the warranty by 4 months. I got a windshield out of the deal so I'm happy. Just in time for tree stand work out in the woods.
