Here are the pictures Lilies, glads, dahlias, horseradish, rosemary, and the pump garden. I also have tomatoes but they are not shown.
Cucumbers are getting ready to climb the trellis. There’s a couple zucchini plants behind them, then the potatoes which are flowering right now. An Egyptian walking onion that sprouted in this bed, and I left alone: More zucchini: The tiny “spoon” tomatoes which are growing like crazy. If I grow them next year I want them next to a trellis as they’re very viney. Porterhouse tomatoes are making a lot of flowers: I have 4 of these San Marzano that I found the seed for at Aldi back in March. They’re doing well. Aji Charapita which are a small hot Peruvian pepper: Orange lunchbox pepper. I’ve been growing these from seed every year since 2018. Jalapeño: Last week I cleaned my rabbit cage and dispersed it all around the peppers and tomatoes.
I love those spoon tomatoes. Those are on my to get list for next year. Picked some pepperoncini's, jalapenos, banana peppers and several cucumber varieties.
Fish remains, garden pests, kitchen scraps, coffee grounds and filters, and yard clippings mixed with dry leaves from last fall. Turned yesterday and reaching 130f on the way to 150-160f. Carrots left from last year for seeds. Garlic
First zucchini is getting picked this evening! It'll be going in a stir fry tonight with sugar snap peas (also from the garden), bell peppers, red onion, bear meat, and an Asian sauce over sticky rice. The zucchini, summer squash, and tomato plants are all growing well, and one bed of cucumber plants is climbing the trellis netting and blooming like crazy (the other bed is growing very slowly for some reason). My pepper plants are all growing in slow motion however I've heard that from a lot of people this year. Cabbage has pretty much been a bust. I need to prune the lower parts of the tomato plants to get some air flow going and I need to go through all my herb/spice plants as some already bolted. Going to plant some seeds soon for a fall crop (hopefully).
Tomato plants are going gonzo and are loading up. I picked a few ripe grape tomatos already. First cukes showing up and I gathered enough raspberrys for a batch of jam. Also finally got some much needed rain.
My cabbage are ready to harvest. Red needs a couple more days. Should have lots of tomatoes soon. And sweet peppers. Brussels hating this heat. Don’t expect much from them. Sweet potatoes slowly taking over.
Planted the fall cole crops last Friday morning. Cabbage, broccoli, white and yellow cauliflower, brussel sprouts and romenesco. Had to hurry to get drip lines laid with the high temps.
Picked this German Pink today and filled up a bowl with another German pink, Cherokee purple, moonbeam grape, a random San Marzano and cherry tomatoes.
Blueberry season here. Not as many as last year's bumper crop. If I can collect an equal amount every other day, I'd have no complaints
