Do you have access to a bigger saw should you need one or are you holding out on us hiding a 461 somewhere?

That is a big mess, my friend. Making some good progress, though. Be safe out in the woods.

My ported 241 with the 18" bar will do pretty much anything I need. Even that big oak. I don't mind cutting from both sides.

And it only weighs 12.8 pounds ready to cut.

It is. We could have fun with a gtg for sure but I'm not ready to tackle that planning yet. Lol.

We are always looking up. Danger everywhere.

A lot of that going on here. A guy I am friendly with has a big tree service operation. He posted a need fr extra help. Trees that have been in lawns for generations are down.

Will you start a replanting program or just let the forest rebuild itself? Will some of those stumps resprout from the base?

I'll let nature do its thing. I'm sure some will sprout many new shoots from the stumps.

Was it officially the Derecho? I been waiting for it to show up this year. Had some strong straight line winds a couple weeks ago that was very localized. Drive for 2 minutes away from storm area and you'd never know anything happened. I had assumed it was a warmup for derecho, but so far we have escaped it's wrath this year.

I've decided to cull the cherry and sell for smoking wood. I'll cut it in small chunks later for faster drying. How much do you sell bundles for? How big are they? Bark removed?

They tried to claim a 'Nado came through here. ALL the fallen trees pointing due south showed that to be false.

New things inbound for the XS 2511P. Gaining 2 inches and supposedly faster / smoother cutting. I use it a lot with this clean up going on.

Nice. I thought about swapping over, but didn't want another chain size to deal with. The 3 point dog helped with chatter, as well as running full chisel chain.
