I'm joining you brother let's find the right rod outfit and start hitting the waters! Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
Hit up the West Branch of the Susquehanna again today. Was 85° and 75% humidity but I had a couple hours so I jumped in. Water was way low but I did find a few fish. Caught a couple small bass and a brown trout. Had a couple break the water and shake their head and throw my lure. Was pretty cool! I was calling it quits and heading back to where I entered the water when I saw a shady spot along the shore. I threw a couple casts into the shadow and bam! Caught my first ever Tiger Musky!
Nice ax handle musky Dan! You and John should give Skagit fly casting a shot. Gunner told me about it. Turns out it’s a blast and makes small river/creek fly fishing much easier.
I snuck out this morning to the Connoquessing Creek by my place . No luck for me but the neighbor got this nice small mouth.
Picked up my new fly rod Thursday evening and hit a local pond Friday. Bluegill on my second cast. Caught about 10 of them and 3 bass. Still need more practice casting this rod. But i love it already.
I'm just a few miles from cranberry. Butler is about 25 or 30 minutes depending upon what part I would be going to.
Wife and I took a camping trip this past weekend to Pymatuning State Park. Rented kayaks on Saturday and caught a couple fish while we were out.
Is that the store at the casino connected to the Silverton hotel. Stayed there a few years back and spent some time wandering around that store.
