    I shunned saw cases for a long time. Was gifted one a couple years ago. It'll only hold my 50cc saws. Very nice for transporting in open truck or buggy bed in inclement weather. (I like that it keeps the sun off too) Keep a couple chains in there too. Mitigated the oil mess with one of those diaper sheet things.

    Farm boss was away so I cut a standing dead elm with the wood boss ms251. Had to retune it was so hot and humid, saw kept 4 stroking in the cut even if hogged in. IMG_2156.jpeg

    So what is the big deal with those? Is it kinda stihl’s answer to the Husqvarna 346? In that it’s one saw that the factory really got “right”?

    Doudtful any Stihl is equal to a 346 (can't believe I just said that)

    Maybe a 543 a closer comp.

    I guess the fact they aren't often seen and its my newest toy I'm posting pics of it. Eggshooterist can better answer that question than me and I believe has with his recent threads about 241's
