Morning all. Cooler with light showers today here. Campground has a carnival planned for today so the place will be busy. I hope it doesn't pour rain for the kids.

Who is my neighbour? asked the young Jewish lawyer. Jesus then told him the story of the Good Samaritan. Even at the end, the young man couldn’t say the name Samaritan but still had the right answer. “The one who took time to help the one that need help”. Read Luke 10: 25-37

In today’s world, who is our neighbour? We live in a world that has many people who are hurting and helpless, often because of events beyond their control. It doesn’t take much for each one of us to lose a job, have a health issue or a financial issue and end up broken, hurt and often lashing out at those around us. Jesus loves those that are broken and hurt, and he gives us the power to love them as well. Not an easy thing to do as all our prejudices rise to the surface as we encounter people with problems. Ask Him for the power to love as He does. Remember that He died to save them as well as you.

He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’(Deut. 6:5) and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ (Lev. 19:18)”, Luke 10: 27

Good morning, members.

Another soggy foggy morning. Heavy rains yesterday and showers overnight. Chance of more showers today. 62⁰/85⁰ muggy.

I was able to get my lawnmower back yesterday morning, and mowed a wet lawn. The yard is uneven as clumps of grass and seed heads had fallen to the side. Those will be evened out the next time I mow with the deck a little lower.

I hope to go for a walk this morning. Followed by removing the top of the woodstove ahead of a chimney sweep on Tuesday.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. 79°\99° clear and dry. Heading to church in a bit, then going to town for lunch. Don't know what else will happen. Riding the SxS is about the only way to cool offif outside, we left at dusk last night, rode backroads for 30 miles, some paved, some dirt...saw several deer.
