Back at it. Fishing in Pa.

Its been over 15 years since I've been out fishing. Went to the Altoona GTG and hung out with PA Dan at the Little Juniata River. He was into some trout and small mouths. I went last Sunday and found some largemouths. Now all i can think about is getting back to the streams.

What you did there… I see it. Don’t be so hard on Dan though little guys can catch big fish too. Although I’d recommend he skip the catfish noodling.

More like not intensive. I didn't catch anything with that fly rod but I sure felt like a fly fisherman for 5 minutes

 

Made it to Las Vegas for school. First stop was the Bass Pro Shop. Only 4 miles from our training center.

 

Hit up the West branch of the Susquehanna River yesterday for about 12 minutes before the skies opened up on me. Caught a small Smallmouth and ran for the bank.

Out in Vegas for training this week. Hit the Bass Pro Shop to kill some time. Bought this assortment of trout flies. Now 8 just need a trout rod to go with them. Any suggestions guys?

PA Dan is responsible for this. He should have to pay for the fly rod. Seems fair to me.
