Not my favorite job but it needed doing. This junk pile had been there since I moved in, and it just kept growing. Especially after the mess from the black locust. You can see how bad it was getting in the background of this pic. All cleaned up now. Once I get around to cleaning out the garage, ill actually be able to use all 4 bays! Part of the reason it took so long, is because I wanted to get all the kindling sorted out of it. Hauled all those btus up to the house, so why waste em. Then my OCD kicked in, and I had to split it all into consistent sizes. Kindling box on the porch is full: And i have enough to refill it a couple times:
