Didn't get pictures but went on a service call for a GMC5500 that just quit in the middle of the road. Out of fuel.
Not all the time, only when you want to use it! In their defense the gauge doesn't work but we have bulk fuel. Everyone knows the gauge doesn't work.
Got up early and went to work at five this morning to put a power steering cooler on a dump truck that way they would have it first thing tomorrow. Came home and weed eated and mowed, then went and hauled a 100 rolls of hay with my dad. Little over 200 rolls in the barn so far.
Also went on a service call for a blown hyd. hose on a dozer, and when I got there my service truck was on fire! Hot wire rubbing the driveline and shorted out and went up in smoke. No pics, not enough time. Got fixed up and back running in just a few.
Off for shift number 2 today. Pushing mud with the schwing on the side of the interstate. Concrete truck is scheduled for 11pm. Thankfully it isn’t a long commute!
If he's not already, pushing/pulling a gear or two lower at higher engine RPMs will help that clutch out. May need better hearing protection against that old 3-banger though!
