Morning all. Yes, it will be warm today as this part of Ontario is expecting a heat wave as well. Late in the afternoon yesterday with temps climbing, we took the shuttle to see the Falls. Rode the boat wearing a pink plastic poncho with lots and lots of other people and saw the most awesome sight. All that water cresting over the edge and falling down towards you is quite something. The noise is incredible. Even this morning, we are 7 km from the falls and I can still hear it.
Today we are heading over there earlier as this afternoon will be definitely out of our comfort range.

Not only that, the Red Sox beat the Blue Jays last night. Hopefully that will be the last time but i am not holding my breath on it.

 

Morning all. Yes, it was hot yesterday with warm rain in the evening. We have been taking the shuttle downtown but we didn't want to wait in the rain for it so we could go to dinner. To us rain equals cold. We found our way downtown by truck and when we got there, the warm rain had quit. After dinner, we found the locks at Welland Canal and watched a freighter go through.
Sad news last night as our oldest daughter and her husband lost their 15 yr. old Nova Scotia Duck Toller. They knew it was coming but as all us pet owners know, it is the hardest part of having a furry child in your life.
Speaking of furry children, Shadow nearly found out about skunks last night. We don't have them on Vancouver Island. Fortunately I spotted it in time - twice. I think it is living under one of the rental cabins in the campground.
As I am typing this, this morning, I can hear thunder and pitty- patting of rain on the roof. We could get soaked packing up this morning.
