I have a window open a couple of inches in the bathroom. Wife hasn't discovered it as yet. When she does, she will yell at me to close it and complain about the cool draft. I love the fresh air.

I had my heat on for a couple of hours yesterday morning. just the head unit in the living room going for the bird. I didn't turn on the office unit as I just wore a sweatshirt until all the electronics warmed up the room.

It has been really cloudy so very little solar gain to keep the house warm the last couple of days. But, at least I'm not having to cool the place at all right now. That will change in the next couple of days.

Turned on AC yesterday afternoon. It wasn't that hot outside in the mid 80's, but there was full sun so once the sun started hitting the SW & and W siding the temp started to race up inside. The morning temp is 60* right now, and although I have the AC off and window fans going, pretty sure the house is not going to cool down enough not to start the AC back up later this morning. Hopefully the storms forecast for this evening will help things cool off and the weekend is supposed to be pleasant.

This season's first heatwave arrives next week with several days in the 90's - oh joy. Daytime highs swinging by 40* within a week does not allow the body to get used to those temps.

Heat thats coming is the main reason I didn't move south. I'm not a hot weather fan, sweat just thinking about the sticky chit thats coming!! Ick! Yuk and blah!! Yes, I'll be saying "Its too hot!!"

Window a/c's go in this weekend and picking up Brodie a pool.

Our mini-split keeps the temp and humidity in check. Love it!

As B mentioned a few posts back, from Tues-Sat in NH is going to be brutal with temps in the 90's and dew points in the 70's. TheCloudBoy over on Reddit says around Manchester on Wed and Thur could easily hit 100*. I'll be doing the mowing early tomorrow morning then be inside with the A/C on the rest of the week. Well except for Wed when we have to be at Lahey for 8:30 as Lori has a follow up doc appointment. But the Rav4 has cold A/C.
