I stopped by the neighbor I helped cut wood on Friday to pick up the Isocore, pickeroon and wedge I let him borrow as I was unable to help him on Saturday get the rest of the wood. We got to talking and I mentioned how I just bought another saw. Next thing I know he digs this out of his garage and gives it to me. Husqvarna 338 XPT arborists saw. 39cc's IMG_5598.JPG IMG_5599.JPG IMG_5600.JPG IMG_5601.JPG Very low hours from the looks of it. Haven't tried to start it as he said it hasn't run in quite some time.

It's pouring 40cc saws in Brad-land! Nice little top handle, let us know how you like it. Should go perfect with the ported 346xp you are getting.

    Nice gift!

I hope there's not much effort getting it running.

I remember when those were newish. Dunno why I was even looking at it at the time as my Echo top handle is determined to outlive me.

Really nice saw to get as a gift there. New diaphragms, suction line and filter and I bet it runs like new.

Wow, that's a nice gift. I know how it feels, our friend gave us his FIL's Husky 55 that time.
It will run better since it's been sitting in an Echo case...:p...:whistle:

338XPT is a great saw, tree service I worked for used them exclusively. They always started and I was amazed at the size of wood they handled leaving not much of a pin to knock down.
