"A line of Generals at the ready! According to Tom Sarmento, the lead mechanic for the Dukes of Hazzard transportation crew, filming each episode required:
    6 General Lees
    8 patrol cars
    2 Uncle Jesse pickup trucks
    2 Daisy Jeeps
    2 Boss Hogg Cadillacs
6 other cars/trucks for Cooter, bad guys, and automotive chaos.
Not all cars were stunt cars, and "hero" cars were pampered. But because mishaps could happen, backup vehicles for both the first and second filming units had to be ready on demand. This kept the show production on schedule, despite the demo-derby nature of each episode.
Mr. Sarmento, we salute ya! And your crew!"

    "Enos...you dipstick!"

The only thing that would make that truck better would be if it dumped

Beautiful picture (not mine) of the Maersk Mobilizer in St.John's Harbour. That's the one thing I miss about working in town, I don't get to see the big ships as often anymore.

I think he is saying he showed her it could be harder and take longer to do laundry than using machines.

That is how Judy did laundry when we wintered in the desert. Both her mother and mine did laundry that way.

Now Dennis I am not saying you’re old.. But you remember before electrical appliances.

My father purchased land; 29 acres on top of mountain and never put in sewer and electricity. So his kids understood that harsh life style
