I have 2 wood racks that need to be leveled and have bricks put under as footers so they don't push down into the dirt.

I need to do some weed wracking along the front of the house.

The lawn needs to be mowed, but my mower has been in for service. It started fine, but developed a surging behavior. Carburetor, I suspect.

Morning all. Nice morning here in the Sault. Off to church this morning and taking it easy today.

Peter, James and John were travelling up the mountain with Jesus. Where were they going? Suddenly, Jesus began to shine as bright as can be. He was joined by two men who turned out to be Moses and Elijah. Peter was astounded and didn’t know what to say or do. Then the three disciples heard a voice announcing “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!” (Matthew 17:5). Full of fear, they fell on their knees and bowed to the ground. The Voice of God!!! Who could survive that!

Jesus touched them and pulled them to their feet. All was quiet and Jesus looked normal again. For Jesus, it was a time of encouragement from his Father and support for the trial ahead of him. For the three disciples, it was a time of awe, something they wouldn’t forget.

As we go through our trials and troubles in everyday life, please take time to think on the glory and awesomeness of God. God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit love you very much and want to be part of your life.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Philippians 4: 4

Need to take the backhoe to my sister's place this morning for some ditching work, and the kids have 4 hogs to get into the freezer.......they were over there till 11pm last night with stage one of that job.


Don't remember if I posted a picture of this new arrival or not.....she's not very cooperative with the camera....

Morning everyone. Rain yesterday and fog now. Richelle ( one of my firewood helpers and “niece”. ) travelled to her fellowship location to do design work on Stealth aircraft. Just like we all did at twenty years old, right?

a local gun show is on the agenda this morning, after coffee with the neighbors. just to laugh at the prices. I do need some .32 S&W for a recent auction win.

A Tom and hen are hanging around the bird feeders just now , so God gave us a little gift to start the day. I hope you all have a quiet and relaxing Sunday on the brink of Summer.

 

Morning all. Overcast and warmer morning. We had spitting rain late yesterday. Sun is supposed to come out today. I hope so as we have a boat ride through the locks booked for this afternoon.

Good morning. Well fishing was good again early this morning. The lake was nice and calm. There are a lot of sunfish, crappie, and bass inside the weed line and biting really good right now.
