Sunny day yesterday so that means rains coming. Tonight/tomorrow predicted to get .5 to 1.5 of rain. 61 and cloudy now. Seems like the perfect set-up for the skeeters to flourish.

 

Weather report just said this is the 14th weekend of the last 20 with measurable rain.

 

Dropped to the low 50's overnight. Today is supposed to be in the low 80's.

I just got done mowing the dandelions and feeding the bugs....at the same time, too!

 

Thick very dense fog this am. Can’t see 1/2 mile. 63 now, headed for high 80’s.

 

Not 90 today. 3rd day without rain but that is about to change. Sure was nice to have some dry days.

1.7” of rain in my gauge this morning. Lots of storm damage south of us, we just got a good steady rain and a few rumbles of thunder. May have to do a small fire tonight to take the chill off of the sun doesn’t pop out today.

No damage yesterday when the storms rolled through. We got a little bit of wind and 1.2 inches of rain. I heard places not too far away got a little damage and power outages mostly from straight line winds.

 

I should have added that we got almost exactly 2" of rain!

Currently 57 and sunny with a light breeze. Perfect weather IMO. Rain showers late yesterday, which gave the garden a good watering. Temps look like they'll be on the cooler side for several days.

 

Woke up to rain this morning and took the dogs outside. Felt a little chilly. 53! Almost cold enough to light the stove, but I told FHC weeks ago that I was done for the season The extended forecast looks pretty pleasant for the start of June.
