Not really a tractor, but I picked up a bobcat 610. I am in the middle of replacing hydraulic seals and clutches, along with adding a return line hydraulic filter. The seals went bad and the pieces clogged up the clutch oilers, lots of work.

I started making a set of forks and will add a grapple as well at some point. No pics yet, but very soon.

Heck pics of my previous “tractor” are buried in the 37 pages of this thread somewhere. I doubt anyone will complain. We all like pictures

Grapples, I envy you with grapples!! It is a someday job. I have acquired a couple 12 volt cylinders from a handicapped lift, thought I would try them first, who knows?!

Barcroftb, that stand on is what I rent to clean out a low ceiling chicken coop we use for calves and ponies, thus its name, The Pony Barn. They are as handy as a pocket on a shirt. Nice rig!

Electric actuators come in all sizes and capacities. I have a few in the shop that range from 500 lbs to 1500+ lbs. The stronger ones are usually slower. I have a matched pair that I am going to use on the grader blade on my cub cadet 149.

They will usually have a load holding rating and a load moving rating. The holding rating is usually higher by 1.5-3x.

This one will be for sale soon. For as small as it is it will move and lift a surprising amount of weight.

I know I said I’d post the dingo here for sale, but it sold before I got the chance. Sold it in less than 6 hours. Guess I coulda asked a little more for it. Oh well I did get a great deal on my tractor so I guess it doesn’t hurt to pass some of that along to someone else on the dingo.

    speaking of the kioti it’s a work horse for sure: IMG_4230.jpeg IMG_4234.jpeg IMG_4257.jpeg IMG_4262.jpeg

I got my bobcat up and running, and then blew a gland seal on a bucket cylinder. I had a seal kits on hand, so I pulled the cylinder and tore it down.....or at least I tried to. The gland was seized. I made a 4 ft wrench and worked at it for a few hours until it came out. The threads were gone. They want way too much for a new gland, so I grabbed a chunk of aluminum and headed for the lathe.....

Turns out my 3 jaw is just a bit too small to hold a 3" round. That's ok, I have a 10" chuck.....only it isn't fitted yet.....the back plate needs to be opened up to fit my spindle....and I don't have a threading tool big enough. I found a cheaper set of hss wood lathe chisels laying in the shop and cut one up for a threading tool. It worked and got the job done.

Tomorrow I can make the gland for my cylinder and hopefully have the bobcat back together. Then I need to turn a bushing out of another gland for my brother's backhoe. If it isn't one thing, it's another. At least my 4 jaw is mounted...

I wonder if paying for the green paint helps you get the work done 30% faster?:sherlock:

I'd highly recommend some counterweight on the 3 point to take some load off the front axle.

Keith normally I always have counterweight on the 3pt especially for heavy loader work. That pic was a test of how much I could lift without.:handshake:

Thanks bud! It’s like a small pickup truck had babies with a tank. A well built machine. I’ve been grubbing 10” boxelder stumps out of the ground with it pretty easily these last couple days. It’ll be a whole lot more useful when I hang a chipper off the back of it though. Should still be able to sneak into most of my clients backyards with it.
