Snowing here. We’ve gotten about 8” since midnight and still coming down pretty good. 30 degrees F outside. 73 F in the house. Burning Doug Fir and Aspen.

Stay warm - and Happy Mother’s Day!!

I doubt it is over yet, but very close.

I hope to see you soon. I should be in better shape this year.

This time of year I'd rather be looking at dandelions! But I'll never forget following a snow plow in June one year in CO and Utah.

We had giant Colorado snowflakes last week, no wind, they fell straight down. Too bad it was a flurry and did not last. We had a spotlight on our previous home high up on the second floor, it was gorgeous watching spring snow storms.

1* C this morning. I was going to enable the geothermal AC day before yesterday but I held off and opened the winders instead. Had to light a smudge this afternoon. Rotten hemlock and pizza boxes. Been cloudy lately. Got a big fire to the north. Fort Nelson got evacuated Friday night. Fort Mac Murray Alberta has a fire knocking on its door too. So damm dry.

Back to warmer temps for a couple of days as we are forecasted to be in the 70's.

The bugs will really show their appreciation for that!

We are forecast to have 4 days in a row over 80 degrees with the highest at 85 degrees. I'm dreaming again of Lake Superior.
