A good friend is the executor of her father’s estate. They are getting the house ready to sell and they had a big ash tree dropped by a professional. There is more wood there than I can take. I noodled/split 3 of the rounds this evening. Took home about a 1/4 cord. I will probably take 1.25 cord.

Get it all! Leaving any of that behind would be shameful, and in direct violation of FHC rule #1 (which is, get it all!) your FHC rating is hanging in the balance here... And don't make Brad drive up there!
I was going to suggest using a ramp and rolling them onto the truck but if you can't get the truck close that won't work. I've done that many times. That is some nice ash rounds.
