    Yes, we had a hairy non poison ivy vine at our previous house. The one in the pic though just screamed poison ivy to me, not sure if it is. I saw one the other day while turkey hunting that was bigger than my forearm, so it was fresh in my mind. Don't usually see them quite that big here.

    Welcome aboard. Btw, having learned from experience, it’s always a good idea to notch a tree because the notch provides the hinge, and the hinge helps control the tree as it falls to the ground. With no hinge you are much more likely to lose control and direction…which can make for a hairy situation, twisting, turning, and splitting in who knows what direction and putting your body at higher risk.
