A neighbor has an ash shelterbelt that is dying out, so with the mild winter and no snow I was able to get out there and get quite a few hauled back to the yard. The shelterbelt is only about 1.5 miles away. Now I just got to get it all processed.

Looks like a Ramcharger. Many good memories running around in one. What gets to digest all your wood? OWB I presume?
    Nice work. Impressive.

Definitely a ramcharger. I have wood stove in house, wood stove at the lake cabin, and since I married a finlander I have wood fired sauna.

Are you serious? The only thing that would impress me any more is if you somehow had a vintage pirate ship docked at the nearest body of water.

Welcome and you really did well for your first post. Ash is a favorite of mine but most are gone around here.

We don't have the emerald ash bore here yet. However these trees were planted in the 50s-60s I was told, also I think the spray used on fields stresses them enough they get suspectable to carpenter worms and other creepy crawlers. But at last i am no tree expert.

Sounds like you can really chew through some wood. Visited northern North Dakota a few winters ago and they sure have the weather to go through a lot! Welcome to the forum:thumbs:
