We’re back down into the high 30s here, so I’m burning red oak chunks again. Morning fires all week:

48 and rainy with a forecast low of 43. My wife said good thing there’s wood in the house. Since it’s raining I’ll probably oblige since I can’t get any mowing or firewood accomplished.

It was 33° out this am. 74° in the stove room and 70° in the back hall where the t-stat is.

Had a couple of overnights with lows in the upper 20's lately. Woke up to some fresh snow on the ground yesterday morning.

Cold and windy overcast days have finally given way to a sun filled day with light breezes. It may even hit the 50's today! :rootintootin:

Just might see the teens for Tue overnight......

41/73 loaded the stove around 5 with cherry and spruce. Ash and cherry on deck for overnight, frost advisory. I'm down to about 1 cord left to split of everything I hauled in this winter.

33/66, fired up the hho to take the chill off. Headed to 70 so no fire. Glad I didn’t plant anything in the garden yet. Scrambling to cover plants sucks.

Had a fire late last night and it's been going all day. Could even be a freeze around here, at least away from lake Michigan.

Same mix for me. Ash, box elder, and catalpa. 44° out 73° in
