Imo, you don't need a peice of paper to prove you love someone. Plus it's a huge money making racket with the wedding n such. Spent enough and put forth enough effort the first time around to never forget that taste. What's that country song, she got the best of me?
It doesn't have to cost a bunch. We got married in our yard with only very close family and friends. Maybe 20 people. It was going to be smaller till my sisters got wind of it and started whining that they weren't invited. We took them all out to dinner after the ceremony. The end. $2300 total and most of it was her ring. We both think big weddings are a waste and don't regret what we did. We are no less married because we did it on the cheap.
So that's what happened! I was wondering if my invitation got lost in the mail or something. Well, congratulations, anyway.....
