Holy cow. It's usually in July before we consider it.

Another day predicted to be mid/high 70's today. No fire in days. I see one in the future though as overnight temps will be dipping to mid/lower 40's soon.
Yesterday in my neighborhood it was reported that just under 1" hail fell in an evening storm. I'm 30min north at wok and just got a light shower for about 5 minutes.

42 and raining. Since it won’t get out of the 40s at all today, I lit the stove back up with some aspen and one small piece of white oak.

32*F and frost night before last and 34*F last night. Fire both days but the day warms up fast, so no more wood after about ten or the house is to hot to sleep at night. As usual, Doug (Fir) is invited for the burn!:)

48/67. No fire in several days. Low 60’s today so probably going to light one this evening.
