Lost my mom June of '22. She was 96. She lived at home til she was 90. Hopefully we have the same longevity genes.
Yesterday evening, we started cutting up some of the limb wood we have brought home lately... Using our jig and Echo XS2511T got the job done... Added to the stack, got room for 2 more rows... This morning, we started oak in totes. The Honda moves Blue Samson around nicely This Goldilocks oak sure is nice... Added 2 more totes to the restaurant inventory, these are the 330 gal size tote
Started on some totes for 16" splits Wednesday morning. Nice day with a slight breeze. The 'Bota brought the logs to the processing area The huskihl built XS2511T and XS4910 got with the program right quick... The pile of Blue Samson fodder... Got 1 tote done before we had to go cut grass... Still have a pile of rounds to process...
Yes, for sure it's quite the operation. If I was closer I'd just throw in the towel and buy my firewood from y'all!
Well, we had Northern lights and southern lights in Dixie last night... Didn't think I would ever get to see the Aurora Borealis unless we went to Alaska, it was pretty awesome to see... But before that, we had southern lights...... We had gotten 3 of the 4' fixtures on sale cheap......one by one, they quit working , probably by Tuesday all were dead... We were at Lowe's Thursday evening, picked up 2 hi-bay lights and got those wired and hung... Maybe I can find tools and work on projects now......
Ideal for use in the wood yard for sure. I've used broom handles, sticks in the past and always revert back to the folding rule and chalk. Kinda glad I only do 16". The only other "length" is nuggets and shorts. Had a customer years back that took 20-24" for her big fireplace.
We finished a customer's winter supply this morning, 1.25 cords, 4 - 330gal totes... Miz Carol helped with marking the logs today, used the XS2511T
We started on the totes of 14" splits today. Finished the loads of small oak trees we got from the RV park.
