Question about big husky

It's like have a built small block Chevy. Once you drive one with 400 hp you don't want one with 250.

I'm a Ford guy too, through and through. But I will admit the Chevys are cheaper to build.

 

I've had both, and became more of a GM fan because of parts interchangeability. I remember a guy from high school had an 80s Buick Regal, and he was able to drop a 350 Chevy right into it because the mounting holes in the frame were already there for the Chevy clamshell style motor mounts. Of course I still have fond memories of my 1981 F100 with the 300 inline 6 that I couldn't blow up, try as I might My last Ford was a 93' Escort which was another vehicle I couldn't kill.

I put a 350 4 bolt in an 84 regal. Mild 300 hp. Fun. I had that motor in a 1979 Monza first. Really fun. 2981 pounds that monza was.
