JH, I had the same kind of day, fall prepping. Last cut on the shrubs, covered the A/C condenser unit, repaired a gutter and downspout, split 1/3 of a cord of red maple and cut back some perrenials. It was a great day outdoors, cool and dry.

Jeremy, that's cool. I like the kids up in the truck bed.
Just don't forget they're in there.:)
Nice Farmall, but I'll take the Cobra, even if it's a replica.:D

Oh yeah Im with ya on the Cobra Dave... that was my dream car as a kid, I had posters of them on my wall and I used to fantazise building one someday. My dad used to take me to Limerock Vintage race weekend every year and one time Cobra was the feature car and we saw hundreds of them (mostly replicas of course).

Gotta be a 427 with racing stripes :D

A bunch of other cool old cars that I didn't get photos of rode by... at least 3 Model A fords, a couple hotrods a looooong old covertable Ford, think it was a Galaxie, an old 20s oil delivery truck, lots of Harleys... and then all the usual small town parade stuff, FD, PD, the town Rep and Dem committees, HS band, my kids preschool class, a lineup of Harleys, all the local garages and contractors, etc. We put on a good show for a little town.

Enough loss so I can't hear my wife. :)

It happened over time. I am the poster child for hearing damage caused by cumulative noise exposure. I really doubt the MRI will show anything as I have had tinnitus for about 15 years. So wear your hearing protection when using loud plowed tools, shooting guns and at concerts.

Good luck.... But I hear you on that. I get the ring periodically in my ears. One of ours salesman for the presses, is probably in his early 40's just got a hearing aid. That thing is tiny.

I always wear hearing protection. Riding lawn mower, chainsaws, diesels, etc. I did not when I was listening to music when I was young. :dex:

Stuck at work today. Not the work I wish I was doing. I have wood I want to get splitting, a road I want to work on, grass I want to mow, a small roof I want to put over the temporary porch at camp. Ugh. Oh well. It will still be there when I get to it. I am hoping the really cold weather is still two months out. Gotta get that roof up!

Apple harvest is in full swing this weekend. Looks to be a good crop this year.

What is a camp? I've seen this term used by several members here.

Rain started, Apple picking stopped. There are some nasty looking storms coming this way and the farmer down the road fired up his propane hail cannons. Not sure if they work or not. Should know pretty soon. :)
