There! Done plowing and shoveling once again!

 

We are at 32/61, we got 3" of snow and no wind. A friend from down south in Mass. called to see how we doing with the blizzard, I said what blizzard? Oh, and Oak and Maple doing their thing.

 

41, windy, and some sort of semi-frozen precip falling every so often.

 

33/76 cherry and elm doing the work.

 

Whoever is in charge of the weather needs to put down the crack pipe. Coldest weather yet, sleet and trying to snow. It is April right?

42/71 Just lighting a load of chestnut oak.

 

43/51 today. 33 tonight. Elm, hackberry to knock the chill off. Guess this is dogwood winter ❄️ or one of those winters.

 

36/70 I gave in and brought in some oak. SS wood wasn't cutting it.

 

I've been burning shorts, uglies, and wood that is past its prime trying to clean things up before the season ends. Wasn't cutting it. Some nice Hard Maple in now. 33/75

 

35 burning Hickory

 

32 and burning a mix of aspen and white oak.

 

32/59 and it's still snowing, we have gotten close to a foot. Oak in the stove.

 

35/74 Oak keeping us warm.

 

17 overnight but a bright sun filled day so far.

Snow-b-gone! Melting like crazy here with temps hitting 40!

 

35/70 have some ash and cherry cooking along for evening. Out and about today, had snow like 4 or 5 times. A few more days of cold ahead. Dry tomorrow so back to splitting and stacking.

 

33/76 some random white oak scraps providing the heat tonight.

35 and we have a freeze warning. Hickory and oak in the stove. I kept it simmering all day yesterday, so the house is cozy this morning.

 

38/70 starting the day off with aspen and red oak uglies.
