I was out this evening and ran a tank of mix through the MS250. I gotta give it some luv... I've been very pleased with this saw over the years.

 

I muffler modded the neighbors and removed the carb limiters. They are pretty impressive for a 45cc non pro saw. I keep looking at them when I'm at the dealer.....

 

This one has the muffler opened up, 4* timing advance, 8 pin rim sprocket, put in the double starter pawls, and I square file the chain. Runs great! I think I turned the high jet almost 1/2 a turn out when I opened the muffler up. So far it has held up great.

 

Its amazing what a muffler mod can do for most saws.

Quite a few tanks of mix ran through the XS365SP and SCarr394 today. Amazing weather to do it too. Hope y’all had as much fun as me.

I just have a 257 i put a 262 cylinder kit on
It's a very strong saw

 

I can tell you my 261XS is the cats meow. Perfect firewood saw.

I run 'em all on 87 pump gas with whatever oil is on sale... LOL

I was looking for a blade cover in chartreus, but I'm having trouble finding one!!!

 

Moto mix is Stihl canned fuel with ultra oil in it.
