32/64 bright sunshine! They are calling for strong winds today. Ill be in the bluffs bucking up, so the wind will be less in there. No fire for a few days, warm and wet ahead for us.

41/64 a lot of rain in the forecast. No fire, maybe this evening to knock the chill off in the basement. You all have a good weekend.

Good morning. -3c/26f out with a a skiff of fresh snow. Larch and birch in the stove. My fire from last night was to far gone to call this morning a reload but it was nice and warm still with a great draft so a bit of kindling and a few splits and I was off to the races! I'm looking forward to when the snow goes so I can get in the bush and start cutting. The last time I ran the saw was late June.

Will probably need to start a fire later but it is still warm in the house. With rain coming that will no doubt mean I'll need some heat.

37 and currently clear skies, with rain moving in later in the evening.
Still burning assorted chunks and uglies. Stove loaded up before I head to work for a very long day.

38/70 haven't done anything with the fire this morning yet. Rain hasn't started yet so may run out and mow before it does move in.
