    After toying with the idea of selling the splitter I just cant! I still love this splitter too much.. I busted up a load of white oak and cherry tonight and it only took about 45 minutes! Beautiful weather and a Pabst couldnt ask for more…

    Why sell the splitter? Was an upgrade in the works?

    because I can make a pretty hefty profit. Money isn't everything however and I love that splitter.

    We rented a huge upright splitter years ago at the farm, for some 3' dia maple rounds we had. It worked great then, but now I couldn't use it on the ground either Pete. Way too much work time while bending over. I really enjoyed setting mine up on the deck this year, in the vertical mode, for those same reasons. Rounds were always at waist height... very little bending. If mine wasn't able to be in vert mode, as long as the rounds were still at waist height, horiz mode w/side tables would work too.
