For some reason when I clicked on the link, it started at the 5 something minute mark. But immediately got my attention when I saw the fire equipment in the background and the FS green ride off to the side.

Only watched a little bit of the vid....that thing looks complicated at first glance.

From what I have found they are the only ones that still make a square chain grinder and they are 1500 bucks

I can never get a chain as sharp as new. No way am I touching a brand new one with a file.

Never, but you can sharpen the chain after it dulls
As sharp or sharper that new, 100%…

I've heard lots o people doing it, they never cut with a factory edge but it's always been fine with me, factory can't be worse than my sharpening :D

I run it until it needs to be sharpened...IMO nothing lasts longer than the edge of a new out of the box Stihl chain, as long as it doesn't cut anything besides wood...

I concur. After trying Stihl chain for the first time I understood why people are willing to pay the extra. I was also impressed with that Husqvarna Xcut semi chisel .325 chain on the 543xp. Also kinda pricey. Most everything before that was Oregon that I used.

I take it right out the box, and use it.
