    Wouldsplitter, you are very industrious. Even your screen name is creative, lol. I've been reading firewood stuff for many years and your idea using the bladder as an extension wins the prize. I also like jrider's technique he mentioned of simply stacking in the bladder, set on a pallet. Cheers to both!

    Almost makes me want a set of forks. And something to lift them LOL
    I wonder if you’d really need the vent holes? Certainly doesn’t hurt but I do wonder if a little sunlight on them wouldn’t create a chimney effect drawing air from the bottom up and through.

    Wow thanks so much!! :thumbs: I tried to put a bladder on a pallet but it seems to not allow the wood to dry. Plus the sides are kind of flimsy once you cut an access hole.

    If you keep it in the weather, moisture definitely has a difficult time escaping. I store mine under cover so no rain gets in but wind still blows over them and have no issues.
