Good morning y'all.

Plan is to go cut a few sycamore trees that were damaged in the storms last summer, the guy doesn't want em so hopefully there will be a nice trailer load of sawlogs.

Yesterday was uneventful, just resting and a bit of unproductive "fishing".....I'm thinking maybe we don't know what we're doing.

Morning all. Overcast and misty drizzle. We started out on another firewood adventure but turned back. It will probably clear up later this morning. Going to put firewood down in the basement this morning instead. Forecast is for more of the same all week. So much for all the high temps we were supposed to get. At least it isn't raining - yet.

Mowed the lawn yesterday afternoon. it was surprising dry enough to do it. Did some yard work as well. Salmonberry, blackberry and broom insist on taking over the yard. I discovered a really neat patch of snowdrops in our lawn clipping pile. I wonder if I can move them.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 33° forecast for 63° later. Woke up to 63° inside, didn't take long to get a going......
Plan is to split more chunks and finish a tote for us, then lunch with our friends from Ala, celebrating his dad's birthday. Nap later and then nite shift for 3 nights.
We got the oak trees project finished yesterday before the wind got here.

Planning to finish up a couple cedars this morning, then shop work and maybe get the mill reinstalled in the barn.

Yesterday, we got the sycamore finished by about 3pm (ended up with two nice loads of sawlogs), then I limbed cedars at the neighbors till dark.

Morning all. I know, I know. I am late. We were up early to watch Canada win their game at the Worlds Woman's curling championship. They are 5 - 0 now. Big game this afternoon against the other 5 - 0 team. Had breakfast and did this and that. Going to be a long day.
Overcast with mist drizzle - same as yesterday. I did get a couple of hours in the garden yesterday afternoon. Boy am I ever out of shape for gardening. I think I will try to sneak in a couple hours every other afternoon. Just getting it ready for the mowing is taking some time. I have some strawberries that made it through our "winter" while sitting in starter pots. They are the next project to get into the ground.
