Roasted cat

Anyone else got roasted cat on the menu?

 

I've got one of those. She'll also attack ankles when you walk by.

 

Well marbled here.

 

Big kitty. Good for ham soup once roasted.

 

You going to makes some pasties out of that?

 

Sometimes Friend will share “her" spot with Max. Old cats will train up a new pup with surprising quickness.

Looks like a split bird of some sort. Split down the back and opened to lay flat to grill.

Pretty cat and a pretty stove. You've got to get him closer though if you want him roasted.

 

Looks like Garfield is sleeping off a pan of lasagna!

 

One of my late cats used to get in that twisted position in front of the insert. I nicknamed him pretzel puss. Sometimes I'd come home from work after a cold day and crash on the floor in front of the insert. He'd come over and crash with me.

 

No pictures, but our twenty something year old will sit within inches of the front of the IS. Amazing how hot he would get when sitting like that. Must feel good on his old bones.
