I’m with others….that’s really disgusting. For a short few rows of crops?

Probably because he wanted the firewood. Can't be worth it for those few rows.

It's not just the added rows that the fenceline was actually taking up in space... The fenceline trees create shade, and also take resources (water, nutrients etc) from the crops that are adjacent....and the crops near those trees will usually be less, just like along the edges of woods. And it could also be a maneuverability of equipment in the field.

Just stating this. I am 1000% that he had absolutely no right for doing that and should be held accountable.

Proposal? This guy got any ground of his own? If so, arrange for your cutting of firewood on His ground to make amend$?

Just a thought. Civil suits don't usually net much (in this type of incident) and the lawyers on both sides get paid.

You have got way bigger cojones than me. There is no way I would trust anyone storing anything around my cars...I don't even trust myself sometimes carrying a plastic pry tool lol.

Moparguy it was in need of restoration at the time. It stays in the shop at home now.

In college worked at an Army Surplus/camping store, did the shoe section too. Remember selling some high end work/hiking boots to a kid bragging about working construction 6 mon/year and unemployment for the rest of the 6 months - Lather rinse repeat. Blew my mind. Flash forward 30 years we got this home at discount because of damage the renters made. At one point 19 men lived here and all reported this address for IRS, years of collection letters and and a couple social security reports (sent back no longer at this address but they still kept coming). I told an older friend that was helping me here I opened one and his SS credits were almost zero for the last 30 years and said "how do they live like that? Rent, food, car insurance?" He answered all under the counter payment. That blew my mind too. I had no idea.
