Yup, as has been stated IN-stinkin-SANE! For that price, it better come with gas/diesel/electric motor, dump bed, heat/AC, heated/cooled massage seats, air bags, ABS, amphibious, rubber tracks, winch, 1000W stereo/CB radio, heads up night vision display, built in 5000W generator/welder, fold out sawmill, air compressor, snow plow, 72" brush hog, pool heater, pop up BBQ grill, fridge/freezer, tackle box/fish cleaning station, missile launcher, dual light sabers, laser printer/copier/scanner/fax/wifi hotspot, metal detector, built in shop vac...I could go on...
Meh, that would probably not be included "standard"...might hafta throw in a couple extra bucks for that option...
$41K for a BELT driven ATV-type buggy is insane IMO. I think this is a better deal for $10K... 1991 Suzuki Samurai 5 speed manual tranny 47K miles
I was thinking about something like this or a 4x4 mini truck. I can have a capable rig for around the ranch for under $5k.
Friend of the neighbor's neighbor, that I was talking with 2 weekends ago, has a Polaris 1000 RZR all decked out with $1k shocks on each corner and 350 hp turbo modded engine. That think probably had more $ into the that that Polaris expedition. Thing is though, that guy's dad works for Polaris racing, so he got a discount on everything. Still... The mule pro that lukem got is a bargain comparatively.
Work vs play. I can still play some with my Gator but its mainly for work, same philosophy as lukem. It just all depends on level “play” I guess.
I'd have to have a good degree of play capability if I spent any amount of cash on one. That said, I can see myself buying a SxS in a couple of years. I get a lot of use out of my ATVs, and I'd definitely get even more use out of a SxS as well.
I don't know about that. I could have spent a lot less money on something else, but I got what I wanted. I wouldn't want to take mine to the dunes, any trail where you would hang a tire at speed, or rock crawling, but other than that it would do good. It's nothing like the old school solid axle models of the past. And I could do it with 6 adults and all their gear.
I have the mule 4010 trans4x4. It's great. My only complaint is that I wish the bed was way longer. I find myself filling it all the way to the tippy top and having to make multiple trips that eats up time on projects.
2022 Kawasaki Mule we purchased in 2023. Was $12K…too much but in great condition and only 130 Hours. I’ve been pleased so far. Not me in picture, eldest grandson. H/L trans with diff lock and 2W/4W drive. Does everything we need it to do, wish I’d have pulled trigger 20 years ago
