Husqvarna is having 20% off on pro saws.

I was looking for another 50cc saw.
    I have a MS270 and a Dolmar 5100s
    I was considering the MS261c-m and the 550xp mk2.
Both of my local Stihl dealers were out of stock on the ms261's
Well, the out of stock ms261 was $689.99 vs the in-stock on sale 550xp mk2 @ $551.99....I came home with the 550xp.
The 550xp should be able to use all the bars and chains I have for my 5100s. Both K095 mounts, .325, 050.
I expect the 550xp and the 5100s to run about the same, since the specs are similar.

It's not my first auto tune saw, I bought a 572xp back in 2019, it has always run very good and has been easy to start.

I have two. They’re good little saws. A muffler mod helps wake em up a little more.

Great pair of saws, I started with the 550xp (mark 1) and then got the 572xp. The 550 is zippy and great for most things with the 20” then 572 with the 28” handles the big stuff, nice to be able to stand up more when bucking on the ground. Thinking about getting a light weight 24” for the 572 to sort of be a middle ground for all the falling I’ve got coming up.

Nice! Looking forward to a run report after some trigger time. :saw: 5 series are such smooth cutting saws. The a/v is .

Mine runs a .325 18" bar with heated grips. It has become my go to saw and takes care of most of my cutting needs. I picked up the premix so it came with a full 5-years warranty.
    Enjoy the saw.

Nice saw! I like the 550xp mk2- a good successor to my 346xp.
