Heavy rain coming next week so thought I better do some. Not quite a full load but after noodle/splitting the big ones it was enough for me. My big saw was aggravating me as well, not wanting to cut straight. I thought I had solved that after dressing the bar. Frawleys is sending a new bar now, that'll fix it. Husquvarna got it done though just fine.

Weather was good and the full sun helped out.

Handy little thing. Ive split big sugar maple with mine. Slow but as long as there are no knots it gets through them.

Are you giving up on pellets Earl?

Still doing pellets, but we have a fireplace we like to use when the temperatures are right.

Wow That must be nice to have a quiet splitter. I'm sure the neighbors appreciate it.

That was one of the main drivers for it. If I ask someone to knock the thumping music off I can’t be making my own racket. Gotta eat my own dog food.

I’ve split some ridiculous things with it. Just need to find the weak point on a round.

Went to change the bar and got to looking, the sprocket was worn. Just got everything back together. New bar, chain and sprocket, just need some dry weather now to try it out.
