Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. 60°, forecast for 70°, rainy day. I'm off for the weekend...:dex::dex:...
Planning to branch out and haul some gravel today, for the camper shed spot. Quarry is about 30 miles from home, we can spread it with the dump trailer ad we unload it. Don't know what else happens today.
Be kind, lend a hand, share a smile

Morning all. Slept in this morning as we got home late last night. Went down for the first 8,000 servicing on the car. It should have been routine but we have had trouble with the driver assist cruise control cutting out for no apparent reason. We use the cruise control a lot as we have a 3 hour highway drive to the nearest larger center. Turns out they had to re-calibrate the software.

Four hours later and half a curling game watched, we were free to go. Meanwhile, we had left the truck in another town to get the new canopy put on so we had to get back to pick it up. First time we have had a canopy to match the truck colour. Now we have to remember which vehicle to look for in any parking lot.

We have been keeping track of the milage we are getting. Driving at 80 K/50 mph we are getting 26 mph on the truck and between 60 to 70 mph on the car. Truck has off road tires and air bags while the car is running winter tires. We are quite pleased with the results.

Anyway, this morning is chores and getting ready for Sabbath tomorrow. Laundry, cooking, bookkeeping - maybe watch some curling.

Everyone have a great rest of the day.

    Hello friends,
I've been away for awhile but very happy to share some news with you. My wife and I welcomed our baby girl on February 21. She was 3 and a half weeks early but came out healthy. We thank Jesus for this wonderful blessing and ask Him for guidance as we start our parenting journey.

    Good morning, members.

Cool day ahead. 34⁰/38⁰. Bright moon out now. Growing breeze. Teens tonight.

I'd like to go for a walk this morning.

My camping gear gets put in the basement today.

Woodwidow - Bruins and Canucks later today, in Vancouver. The Bruins haven't been playing well for a couple to weeks.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning. It is 14f now, but heading to upper 40s which will take care of the rest of our snow.

My wife and I were up at the cabin last weekend and enjoyed the nice winter weather on some hikes on our land and down by Lake Superior.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. 46° forecast for mid 60's, windy later this morning as cold front comes in. Going over close to Alabama line this morning, pick up our son's Expedition, broke down at his best friend's house, pulley locked down, broke belt.
Then dinner with friends this evening.
We hauled 18 tons of gravel for the camper shed spot and got it spread yesterday. F250 handled it fine, had to scoop some off with the tractor to dump it...a bit overloaded...:whistle:
This was the heaviest load...6.78 tons 20240223_141155.jpg
Had to pull some off the front so it would dump...:jaw: 26476.jpeg
    Getting it spread.... 20240223_145217.jpg
Got the whole area covered and packed down. May add more later. 26490.jpeg

Morning all. Grey, overcast and wet this morning. Looks like it will be the same as yesterday.
hovlandhomestead I was wondering if you were at the cabin as I hadn't seen a post from you recently.
MikeInMa I guess by now I can believe they actually are real this year.
Backwoods Savage since retirement, I seem to forget my card in the car more often when I am shopping.

The Samaritan woman came to the well alone in the middle of the day. Her reputation was rather sketchy. Unused to being noticed in a good way, she was very surprised when a Jewish man asked her for a drink of water. Jews and Samaritans were long time enemies. Neither spoke to the other. Jesus was friendly and willing to talk about living water/eternal life with her. Her response was gladness and eager to share the news, she rushed back into town to tell anyone she met about the Good News of salvation. Jesus spent two more days in Sychar sharing the Good News of salvation with the townspeople.
Are we just as glad and eager to share the Good News of salvation with others? Do we reach out to people not of our own colour, beliefs, lifestyle and background and share with them? The Good News of salvation is for all people.

13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4: 13, 14

    Happy Sabbath, everyone.
