Oak trailer decking.
My bil rebuilds trailers as a sideline and is always needing new decks.

 

We've sold a few cords of farwood this winter as well.

 

Awhile back an acquaintance gave me a couple loads of walnut logs and a big o'l chunk of cherry.

I'm just a backyard idiot sawing logs.

 

Some big o'l ugly oaks we slabbed for a customer a couple months back.
Destined for fireplace mantles, stair treads, & a table top..

 

Some recent cedar jobs.

 

Did an order of 500 1x6x8 last month.
Started with the ugly stuff to get it out of the way, and so I'd have better logs leftover for larger dimension lumber.

 

More of the same batch.


Got em all cut.....



And the customer getting ready to head back to Mississippi with the load...

Cut some of the nicer logs for this one.

Pics don't really show the color, this stuff is bright yellow when fresh cut.

 

Wish I had some trailer decking out of that...

 

Cool stuff there/ Reminds me of a recent mulberry score of mine. Ever mill any mulberry?

 

I don't recall any but I may not be remembering something.
Anyways, I'll put that on my kill list.
