1/4 cord delivered to top off my friends order. Puts me over 6 cords sold this year. IMG_4817.JPG IMG_4818.JPG One half cord customer still hasnt called and another will get a full cord yet. I have bark on wood posted on CL for sale. Listed a half cord on FBM and had interest. He was far and didnt like my delivery price.

Sold a half cord of bark on. Tried FBM and got a couple hits. One was too far and didnt like the delivery fee. This guy was close by and may become a regular. I was a bit liberal on my half cord. IMG_4846.JPG IMG_4845.JPG Now over 6.5 cords this burning season.

Another FBM sale. Over seven cords this season. IMG_4883.JPG IMG_4882.JPG He showed me his stack of osage orange. My heart sunk when i realized it was basswood. I think his did too. His cell phone app IDed it.:picard: IMG_4884.JPG IMG_4885.JPG

Those cell phone APs are only as good as the user. They can help you in the right spot but you also have to know enough about trees to be able to correctly identify species. He will love your black locust after burning his stuff!

He was another victim of shady sellers. Bought three cords and a lot less than stated. "Seasoned" wood was fresh split red oak!

I have to ask Joe. You ever get any osage dropped there? Holy grail score here.

I have never even seen one around here. A guy I know tells me there is one about 20 minutes away but I haven't been out in that direction in a long time and I'm not making a special trip.

With the amount of locust you hoard do you remember where any particular batch comes from, or is it all a blur at this point?

Usually the bark on stuff. I have a cord of such yet from Bristol and a score right before that. Debating on listing that or not. The ad has sold three half cords of bark on which is in the way.

The barkless gets staged together and SS in the Spring. Unless i get a big score of barkless i kinda forget. I know i have yet to cut any barkless close to home just from Bristol and Woodbridge.

I have two customers that should call again for more that will give me another two cords sold.

Second load went yesterday afternoon. IMG_4966.JPG IMG_4965.JPG Full cord in his yard. IMG_4967.JPG Whats left in the racks at this location. Note: the cribbed stacks in back are oak and not my wood or work.
Time to get hoarding. Todays 2-3" of snow doesnt help. IMG_4964.JPG
8.5+ cords so far with a couple sales lined up next week.

No. It was a free dropped off load of rounds and his phone app IDed it as such. Ive never seen osage in person, but they do exist as plantings here in CT

Well i topped off the load after work yesterday. (no pics) Ended up getting stuck while trying to leave and called to get pulled out. Reason im abandoning this area. This puts me over nine cords for this season. Most ive ever sold in the four years of selling it. Still have an order going out this weekend.

I eventually will dry out my little honey holes of it. The bark on stuff is the luck of the find/score. Luckily i kinda unintentionally had the three year plan with BL inventory. Couple cords sold this year were from my FBM listing.

I had a tree guy offer me several cords of log length fresh cut BL last Spring but i have no way to accept log length. Everything has to be bucked and then brought in. PITA but it is what it is.

Any idea how much BL you've sold this season?

I have it written down at home but off the top of my head, 8-9 cords. Those who know, love it!

Thought I was done, but a new customer this year wanted another half cord load. They will be repeats for BL next year. Puts me over ten cords sold for the season. A record for me. IMG_5071.JPG IMG_5072.JPG IMG_5073.JPG
