Yep. I still have my '78 150, 300 4 speed. It'll take me places and is more reliable than any new one. Plus when you are driving folks wave and give a thumbs up.
I have seen pics you posted and think it’s totally bad azz! Gramps had one robins egg blue, I remember lots of good times in that truck. Too bad my cousin destroyed it!
Hard to like that. I grew in a family that had them. Dad's was a 79 ranger, one uncle had a 77 camper special, and granpas was 73 3/4 ton. Mines no show winner but that's OK. Means I don't have to worry about scratching it.
Finally quit raining here, thumb healed up enough, and got over whatever sickness I had. I can count on one hand how many times I've been sick I my adult hood. The URI I had was brutal. Anyway some pics of my little wood yard that I got back to work. Working bout an 1 1/2 of the evening. Started yesterday. Splitting somefine red oak.
That first pic is why I love the big oak trees. Many primo splits per round. Doesn’t get any better when the wedge only has to go about 1-2” in.
Yes it is. I gave 3500$ for it and couldn't drive it home. Had to go completely through the fro of end and then replace seals in the t- case and put a clutch in it.
Yep. Specifically why I got my '16 F-150 lariat with the 5.0 and 6spd. I plan on having it until it hits 250k+. I've got a serp pulley bearing just starting to make odd noises when it wants. Trying to determine exactly which one it is without taking the belts off. 92k now, got it with 40k . I'll be swapping out both new serpentine belts before Denny's GTG. Hopefully I can find out which one it is and that is a cheap and easy one to get at.
Lol my first car was a 78 robin egg blue Ford Granada with the 230 ci i6, the c6( could've been a c4), and the 9" rear end. Ugly car, but SOLID.
