Depending on the species, it’s not too hard to keep up with a splitter….for maybe a face cord, but beyond that, the splitter always wins
Sorry I didn't see this sooner. Yes this absolutely works. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/fFJLxO18IBQ
I had been running redline 20w50, but that stuff is over 18$ a quart now. I now buy Lucas oil bag in a box you get 6 gallons and it breaks down to about 8 a quart. Bonus for me is I'm from Indiana so Lucas is a "local" company. I run their 5w40 in all our water cooled gas vehicles
Congrats! Having a splitter will change your life! How fast you can process depends on a lot of things like where you're loading the wood from. For one person, a Rick is a decent guess. Ideally though for big jobs I like to have 2 helpers which really speeds things up to the point where you can process a full cord or two in about an hour.
Yep ^, it's all about the details. The size of the rounds can have a huge effect on time. There is a sweet spot and once you get outside of that, the time multiplies. That sweet spot can be pretty big with a 4 way though.....
