I'm picking this rem700 .270 up from a friend but I'm having a hard time identifying if it's a bdl/cdl with an aftermarket stock or a custom shop rifle? The grade of the walnut stock makes me think it's more than a bdl. Any guesses? Serial number indicates a 1975 manufactured date.
Cdl had a fluted stainless barrel according to this information. Remington 700 ADL vs. BDL vs. CDL: Unraveling the Many Faces of the 700 - RIFLE BASIX
Not to hijack your thread but I just bought a early 4 digit serial number 700 in 264 win mag with a 4x12 Leopold on it for 495. Here's a screen shot of it. I'll post pics when I get it.
Good cartridge. Little tough finding the ammo for it right now. Sent from my SM-S536DL using Tapatalk
