    Congratulations!

Obtaining my class B CDL opened up a whole lot of opportunities for me and was one of the best decisions I made. I’m not a truck driver but driving a 60,000 lb truck is a huge part of my job.

Did you have to go to school for it? Either way it’s at least another feather in your cap and you can help other out.

Hey all.. checking in to let y'all know things are fine here.. just trying to get a handle on the "new normal".

Listening to a lot of audio books and Pandora mostly.

Holly (the puppa) is doing well, but her "routine" has changed up some as well, so I'm adjusting to that as well.

She's decided that she doesn't wanna eat without a treat, so instead of being more stubborn than her and letting her go hungry till she concedes, I'm spoiling her with 1/2 a hot dog at feeding time when I get home from work.

Blue smoothie intake has increased.. :coldone::pete:

I had to take a little breather at Thanksgiving.. we get Thur and Fri off, so I use PTO time for Mon-Wed and get 9 days off for hunting.

Didn't do any hunting this year, as my heart wasn't into it. So I spent 4 of the 9 days sober.. aside from extreme boredom, no ill effects were noted.

    I'll be back.

Congratulations DaveGunter on the upgraded driver's license. From what you said, it will definitely come in handy.

Truck tail lights, rear turn signals, and reverse light stopped working last night. Checked every fuse, I got a minute to crawl under it and after eating half a pound of rust and dirt I got them working again. Gotta love simple fixes. The rear plug to the lights came undone. Some hillbilly has been there prior to me.

So I went out to feed our outdoor cats this evening...just after dark...flipped the wood shed light on (where the cats bowl is) and found an extra kitty! :startled:

The best one I saw was when I was shopping for a new jig saw. One guy likes it so much he didn't need his table saw anymore. Tell me you don't know what you are talking about about without saying it.

Awe, how adorable :D Skunks are great for grub control as well as small rodent control. And they are usually pretty calm unless something gets in their faces. I really enjoy watching a troop of parents and kits go by, they flow in and around each other so closely. Looking it up, seems dad doesn't' stick around, so when I've seen two adults, must be two females and their young hanging out together

Wife went away for two days, to da Big City, to see a show with some friends. So I’m on full animal chores duty, and watching over a teenager (who can pretty much take care of herself). Today, like yesterday, I have to get out and get some much needed exercise, winter always makes me want to eat more. Firewood chores, animal chores, and an assortment of exercise should tire me out by noon. Days off are great.

Wet sticky snow does make the woods pretty as much as it sticks to the ruts in my driveway. Wild turkey chili to warm up after.
