Dump scrounging postponed

There will be a break in scrounging at my local tree dump

 

Hot dog and marshmallow time!

 

Now that's what i call a bonfire!!

 

How often do you go there and how often do they burn? Get much wood there?

 

Check it out several times a week maybe (3 on average)
Usually gets burned once a year in the winter.
I’ve had a couple good scores there. All the honey locust I’ve ever gotten was from there.
City maintenance guy and I are pretty good friends so he’ll let me know sometimes if there’s a good score to check out

 

The reason I went by today was to check on 2 really awesome shipping crates that I want to use for racks for bundles. As I was turning off the highway and saw the flames and smoke I panicked. But the crates were still there and the stepson and I went back to get them.

 

It’s too far for you to go to scounge…

 

ya never know. Id be more inclined to help him cut and load.
