Yes they do 100% only difference is world wide companies vs Chinese only, some parts made in china some not, husky was assembled here Brazil, sweeden ect . Now sweeden, Brazil and China. Stihl has a plant in China and owns zama also that’s in china but majority of that stuff for now is for Asian market. Majority of Stihl stuff in USA is assembled here or Germany, only two pieces of China equipment for sale state side is the fs38 trimmer and the cheap hedge trimmer. Stihl’s largest factory in in Virginia Beach they make a large portion of their saw parts themselves including the cylinders and pistons cast in Brazil by their factory. All this crap floating around the internet and facebook about all the Stihl saws below the 250 being Chinese is just that crap. Get guys telling me all the time they see them but can’t produce a picture of one. Not saying you’ll never see a China Stihl saw in the USA but for now there’s none. Any saw 362 and down for us is made in Virginia Beach and 362 and over Germany. 362 is the cross over point so some made both places, even the 391 is German. They just put in their own bar plant a few years ago in Virginia Beach to go with the one in Germany.
Just put in a new battery plant in Virginia Beach also to make stihl’s tool batteries. No company is solely here but Stihl invests a lot more in us than holzforma or neotec. So buy what you like but to say they’re the same they’re not.

Looks like a nice saw, is the husky clutch cover on purpose or did the original break?

    IMG_1591.jpeg IMG_1591.jpeg Can’t hardly see the saw 592xp.
Mostly a picture of the operation this weekend.( both days) I was really hoping to get all this processed over the weekend but I don’t see it getting done in one more day. Probably need another whole weekend. I left the splitter in place so maybe I can use the Coleman lanterns and keep pecking at it in the evenings .
The 562xp and one of the 357’s got to play a bit too, but they were napping when I thought about a picture

Yes it does, it got to stretch its legs earlier this winter.
CAD makes it hard to keep them all in regular rotation when “my” play time is limited.

I finally got to sqeeze the throttle on an old OH44 not too long ago. I was very impressed for a bone stock saw. Rippers.

In my opinion the 272xp has only a slight edge over a 10mm 044. I have both
