Better than leaving it in there.

    Good luck!

One guy did and it cost him 8000 a year. He was surprised to find out it covers the building only, not any of the contents. like the furnace or refrigeration.

I have to admit that I really dislike shopping at Walmart. However, I really do like shopping at Walmart online and Walmart's deliveries. I don't mind tipping the drivers. They earn their tips.
The ones doing the picking of the order deserve a thank you. They do better than I do picking over fresh stuff. Not having to go up and down the isles and then the checkout and carting it to the car and then into the house is such a relief. Not having to ask someone to do my shopping is also important to me.

Wasn’t too bad. Other than the 20 something intern lecturing me about safety glasses then rolling her eyes when I told her I wear them while working and this didn’t happen at work.

I just read where Ford is cutting back the production of the fantastic world saving lightning f-150 (EV) since no one is buying them. Even with the rebate incentives available.........

They had a 100 day stockpile of them. Shut down one entire shift of about 1400 workers. :picard:

Same for me...although it may have been from debris that was still in my eyebrow or eyelash from work...

Most likely here as well. But safety glasses wouldn’t have stopped it.

Ummmmm I’ve been saying this for several months. EV doesn’t sell or make profits, dealers don’t want them and get stuffed with them if they are “on the program”. They pay floor plan interest to have hem sitting there when they didn’t even order them. How’s that working out? Ford got them off their books and kicked that can down the road, literally! Should be illegal with jail time for the idiots in charge!

    1. There is usually perennial flooding along the Kennebec. Often get into the basements of the business alongside the river. We have 500 yr flood levels and 100 yr flood levels. Both have occurred in the last 50 years. The Kennebec is a tidewater river and has extremes of levels. Why anyone would keep investing in those 200-year-old buildings is beyond me. This state has been ravaged by storms in this past year. Extreme washouts are about everywhere. Roads, bridges, and buildings are being impacted like never before. There just isn't enough money to fix everything. Putting things back the way they were won't work. They will be washed out again before the repairs are paid for.

savemoney I agree, first FEMA does nothing if you own it but don’t live there! In my case, the building is rental units, not my residence, I have to deal with SBA. It will cost about 3x as much to pour concrete and get basements out of flood plane both 100 & 500 zones. Cannot get the financing, why not tear it down. Simple housing shortage, there’s not enough housing now, especially affordable housing

Had to clear a frozen pipe in my septic system last night, about a 4" dia x 2'-0" long plug of ice. Wife was kind enough to sneak a picture of me looking handsome as I usually do!!

You don't look very happy nor would I in those circumstances. You deserve a day off for that.
