37 and pouring rain. We're going to get that special kind of mud this week where it rains every day and you get 2" of snot on top of frozen ground. Fun.

Fire is lit, blower is blowing, coffee is brewed.

Now, if only I could sit on the deck.......

42* overnight. Rain has stopped, partly cloudy but still damp. 12" Doug Fir yard tree splits burning (Less dense because of regular watering and fertilizer on the lawn). Just burning to keep the chill and damp off. Besides, have to have that cheery fire going in the morning!

    No so fast my friend…

35/71 this AM. Put 3 pieces of RO on the coals. That finished out all the wood against the wall in my basement. 2 full rows by the stairs left. Be interesting to see if I’ll need more.

I was going to ask if your forecast still said it was the first day of spring on Friday.

Our forecast still says a high of 40 for the week.

35/76 Burning some locust. We've had heavy fog for the past 24 hours and counting. So, it makes everything a sheet of ice for the first few hours of the day.
