Morning all. Surprised to see the day starting off dry. Overcast with sun peaking through. Forecast is for a dry day so hopefully it is. campinspecter invited me out for breakfast this morning. "Downtown" was quiet. Not too much open first thing in the morning. He is now cleaning out the boiler for a firing later today. During that cold snap, it was running everyday.
Chores for me. I really have to clean off my desk and get it organized. It was going to be the first thing I did when I retired. Two months later, it hasn't been touched.

Sawdust Man Gorgeous sunrise photos as usual. Love the colours in it.
Smokinpiney frozen drainpipes and ice cover decks are not fun. I hope it doesn't take too long to clean off.
MikeInMa So it looks like the Canucks might not bomb out this year. We will have to see what February brings. Do I sound skeptical? It is like cheering for Toronto - either the Maple Leafs or the Blue Jays.
hovlandhomestead I am glad we don't get so cold that the lakes freeze over here. It has happened in the past but it really isn't thick for very long. Our last cold snap had small pans of ice in the harbours where the fresh water came in to the bay.

Everyone have a great day. Football playoffs are getting interesting now.

These things usually come down to injuries and bench depth.

Good afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll are having a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. It was a :shiver: 17° when I cranked the truck this morning, no wonder the Drolet was working hard to keep it 70° inside.
Up to 44° now. Last day of 7AM-7PM shift at work, off tomorrow. The SxS came in handy last night. Only had 3 little sticks left in the wood box. Got our stack of buckets and brought back 2 buckets of oak, 2 hickory, 2 BL, 2 mixed and 2 buckets of chunks... 20240120_200001.jpg
Maybe that will last a couple days...
Should start warming up by Tuesday.
    We'll be busy tomorrow.
Share a smile, lend a hand, be encouraging...

Sounds like a weather mess heading our way. Hopefully the weather people will be wrong again. But at least it is supposed to be warmer and we get out of the deep freeze.

Seemed good to be walking outside and the snow wasn't squeeky yesterday afternoon.

    Good morning, members.

The forecast is for temps to be above freezing today. 16⁰/38⁰ It'll be nice to see some ice melt away. It's been below freezing for a week.

I have an appointment with my primary this morning. Annual kicking of the tires.

Some grocery shopping while I'm out.

    Bruins hockey tonight.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 24° this morning, heading to mid 50's. Off today, got to deliver a load of 16" splits and at least 2 totes of 18" splits.
Going by the Ford dealership and see about getting an extended warranty on Godzilla, the F250.
    Be blessed, be a blessing

Morning all. Up early this morning so I don't know what it is doing outside yet. It is too dark still. Yesterday was nice. We sat and watched football and the weather. I did get some stuff put away from off my desk before the games but the worst of it I didn't touch. Maybe today.

    Everyone have a great day.

    Good morning, members.

Overcast day ahead. 32⁰/40⁰ Light snow at sunset. Sloppy wet week ahead. Above freezing, though.

I'm taking dad to an eye appointment, early afternoon.

I'll then drop of my minivan for a few transplants.

    Be safe
